I’m a swiss photographer based since September 2020 in Lausanne. Born in Locarno, after a Master of Arts in Films Studies at the University of Lausanne, in 2014 I start to work as freelance photographer. Beginning as camera assistant for a documentary in Brazil, for six years I travelled to Brazil and Portugal. In 2016 I went to Senegal with the Geneva’s association “Le voyage de l’amitié”. Thanks to the prize of the Geneva's institute "Sandoz Family Foundation" a photographic book of this reportage was printed and an individual exhibition was presented in Geneva.
Between 2015 and 2017, during my work as still photographer, I did a documentary project in Brazil exploring the suburbs and the farmers of Unaì, a city in the north-west of the brazilian state of Minas Gerais. "At the borders of Minas" was presented as individual exhibition in Switzerland in 2017 thanks to the curators Katja Snozzi, Peter Keller and the Canvetto Luganese.
Living and working then in Lisbon for three years, I finished a personal project, Alto do Lumiar, now transformed in a dummy. The project has been selected and will be exhibited for the first time in Rotterdam, in May, during the Rotterdam Art Week.
